HTS 9000
HTS 9000 Electrical Requirements
  • Requires a 60 amp double pole breaker, actual draw is 45 amps; inrush is 2300 amps for one millilsecond
  • 208/240 volts – single phase – 120 volts per leg
  • There are 4 wires consisting of 2 hot, a neutral and a ground.
  • With a T Max timer, you will need a 110 v outlet at the front desk You will need 2 18 gauge wires to run from the TMAX timer J-3 terminal to the electrical panel of the HEX system where itís marked J-3 terminal
  • HEX is U.L. listed (48N5) which means it must be hard wired. The wire can come from the floor, ceiling or wall and will go directly into our electrical control panel on the left side of the HEX unit as you face it.
  • Each HEX comes with as much timer cord as needed to surface mount the HEX timer at the main service area.
  • An odometer (hour meter) is mounted on the electrical control panel of the HEX that tracks lamp usage to the 10th of an hour.
  • Two Jensen 90-watt speakers are installed in the ceiling of the HEX tanning unit; they can be connected to your stereo receiver.
  • The Fan on the top of the unit operates at 2900 CFM
  • The HEX is self-ventilating; cool air is drawn in through vents at the bottom of each wall and hot air is forced out the top of the unit via the fan; usually no exhaust is necessary
  • BTU’s – 24,000 per hour if the unit is running constantly
  • Dimensions
  • 4’ x 4’ (tanning unit) 50” peak to peak with the unit roof
